Getting back into the routine of school sucks. There I said it. I often try to start our school year with public school and we take Christmas break with them. It gives us a guide to the year if you will. But the one thing I do differently is I refuse to start our school year off in the middle of the week.

1. Set Clear Goals and Expectations
- Define Educational Goals: Outline what you hope to achieve during the school year. Include academic milestones, personal growth objectives, and extracurricular goals.
- Communicate Expectations: Ensure your children understand the daily and weekly expectations. Discuss their responsibilities and what they can look forward to.
2. Create a Daily Schedule
- Morning Routine: Establish a consistent wake-up time, morning chores, breakfast, and a start time for school activities.
- School Hours: Determine the hours dedicated to structured learning, including breaks and lunchtime.

- Evening Routine: Set a schedule for dinner, family time, and bedtime to ensure everyone gets enough rest.
