Observing Clouds in  Your Homeschool

Clouds are a fascinating part of the natural world, and they offer a great opportunity for homeschoolers to learn about weather and meteorology.

Homeschoolers have the unique ability to observe clouds at all times of the day, identify different types of clouds.

There are several types of clouds, and each has unique characteristics that make them easy to identify.

In addition to identifying cloud types, there are many other fun activities you can do while cloud-watching.

Draw the clouds: Take a sketchbook outside and draw the different types of clouds you see. 

Predict the weather: Based on the types of clouds you see and their movement, try to predict what the weather will be like later in the day or the next day.
